I'm back!... after a 1.5 yr hiatus. What has happened to Xanga? I'm so confused by all of the different changes. I'll stick to the blog section for now.
A lot has happened and the cliff's notes version: I'm still in pharmacy school. Anyways, moving on. So this was a busy weekend. It was weird that I saw so many people this weekend-people I went to high school with, people from a different high school, and people from pharmacy school.
Friday night was a going away party for Ross, a good high school friend. We went to Perkins, a good ol' tradition for the group, and talked for hours. We never made it out to the bowling alley, but I guess I was fine with it because I was exhausted from the week. I do miss my HS friends a lot. I can't believe it's already been 6 years since we graduated from HS. Acks.
Saturday began with a yoga class. I've been taking yoga almost every day for the past week at Corepower Yoga. They offer a free trial week, so that's what I did. I don't think I've ever sweated this much until I started yoga. I took a Hot Yoga class on Thursday night, where they heat the room to >100 degrees. I sweated like a leaky faucet. So I thought it was just b/c of the heat. On Saturday morning I took a different yoga class, and I still sweated like the niagara falls. Actually, not quite since there was a guy in the class that looked like he just climbed out of a pool. His pants were drenched by the end of the class and he was dripping sweat nonstop. And I digressed. Saturday evening I went to a wedding. It was a friend from "high school" (we didn't go to the same high school, but I knew him from that era). But it was still fun to see everyone there that went to EHS. It was a beautiful wedding at the Arboretum in Chaska. I think I like outdoor weddings more-churches are just too formal and stuffy. The reception was great-the dinner was awesome, the party was fun, and they even had a photo booth! Note to self-I'll have to reserve one for my wedding one day. After the wedding I went to a birthday yoga party. I was glad that the party was still on when I got there. It's with a bunch of friends from pharmacy school. So before I walked it I was trying to wrap myself with the sheet to make a toga. I failed miserably, and I'm sure the couple of people that walked by the car were wondering what I was doing in the car. We played Cranium for a while (it was a different version from the original), drank some margarita, chatted with people, and I was home by 3a.
And then today I took another yoga class, went to Cafe latte for lunch, and went to my apartment to pack and move my stuff back home. And now I have to work on my research project and get some data plugged in and analyzed. This might take a while, I have ~150 surveys to go through.
Well, it definitely feels different to blog again. I'll have to come up with some interesting stuff to talk about. For now, I'm off.
